How can I obtain pricing information?

When does my subscription start?
Your subscription starts as soon as your payment clears. For subscriptions ordered online with a credit card, this will be as soon as the credit card transaction is complete. For orders or renewals mailed or faxed to our Order Department, this will be when your payment is recorded; you will receive e-mail notification when the subscription begins.
How can I evaluate the site before I make a purchase decision?

Can OMMBID accommodate multi-user licenses by IP address or Username/Password configurations?

What is the subscription price?
See posted subscriptions rates for Individual Users. You can also purchase PDFs of individual chapters a la carte by visiting the abstract page for the chapter of interest.

Where can I find information on usage statistics, MARC records, and other such details?
Please consult the OMMBID Librarian Resource Center for this type of information.
What if I forget my institutional username and/or password (useful for remote access and retrieving usage statistics)?
If you are the administrator for your institution’s subscription, you can retrieve your login information by contacting Online Customer Service by email at OnlineCustomer_Service@mcgraw-hill.com or by phone at 1-888-307-5984 (Toll-free, U.S. only) or 1-614-759-3663 (outside the U.S.) between 8 AM and 5 PM Eastern Standard Time.
If you are not the subscription administrator, please contact the subscriptions administrator to find out your institutional login information. (Your administrator is likely to be your librarian or department head.)
How private is the information that I supply in my registration form?
The information that you supply is covered by McGraw-Hill's Privacy Policy and is used to provide you with the best possible service for OMMBID. For more details, see McGraw-Hill's Privacy Policy.
Individual Subscriptions Support
Can I share my individual subscription with others?
No. Individual subscriptions are licensed only to the user who purchased the subscription. When you agreed to the Terms of Service Agreement, you agreed to keep your Username and Password confidential.
What if I forget my login username?

Scriver's OMMBID offers a full suite of access options for institutions, including:
IP Authentication
Institutional subscribers submit their network IP ranges to McGraw-Hill during subscription setup. These ranges are verified and loaded into the system and all users coming from inside the range are automatically provided seamless access from any IP-authenticated computer.
Referring URL/Domain
Institutional subscribers can place registered links to OMMBID behind their secure login (for example, a library site that has already validated a student). The institution must register the domain and URLs where the links are placed with McGraw-Hill during subscription setup. These links will then automatically and seamlessly log the user into OMMBID every time they are clicked.
EZproxy Configuration
Remote access to OMMBID via EZProxy requires EZproxy 2.4c GA (2004-03-21) or later combined with this database definition:

Username/password
The welcome email you received at the beginning of your subscription contained the username and password you can use to access the site remotely. If you are unable to locate this email, please contact OnlineCustomer_Service@mcgraw-hill.com and ask them for your OMMBID username and password.
